ABOUT THE ANGKLUNG

The angklung is a traditional musical instrument constructed from bamboo tubes attached to a resonator, and it is played by hand-shaking or shaking. This instrument has a long-standing history in various regions of Indonesia, particularly in West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Bali. The name "angklung" originates from the Sundanese term "angkleung-angkleungan," which describes both the motion of the player and the characteristic sound "klung" produced by the instrument.

iAngklung is a digital application that emulates the traditional angklung instrument. The primary method of play involves shaking the device, mimicking the real-world technique. Additionally, the instrument can be played via sliding gestures with a finger, moving left and right.

Supports synchronization with other iPod music tracks for ensemble performances.
